This method requires Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). This requires Windows Professional. \\

  - Open gpedit.msc
  - Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Microsoft Defender Antivirus -> Real-Time Protection
  - Open "Turn off Real-Time Protection" and select Enabled
