Fix Device Is Not Play Protect Certified in Waydroid

  1. Start Waydroid container
  2. Install https://f-droid.org/en/packages/makeinfo.com.getid/
  3. Get the “Google Service Framework Key”
  4. Enter it here https://www.google.com/android/uncertified
  5. If you get Value Already Registered, sadly you need to reinstall Waydroid
    • Reinstall it as many times as it takes for Google to accept your Framework Key (I only needed to do this once)
  6. Wait 5-10 minutes
  7. Reboot your Linux computer
  8. Boot up Waydroid container
  9. If you still get notifications about your device not being certified
    1. Go to Android Settings
    2. Apps
    3. Play Store, Play Services
    4. Stop and Delete data from both
  10. Now you should be able to log into Play Store
