Create a file ~/.xsessionrc (.xsessionrc in your home directory)

nano ~/.xsessionrc

Add the following content

export XAUTHORITY=${HOME}/.Xauthority

Ctrl+O to save

Ctrl+X to exit nano

Reboot your machine
