EC Reset

1. Hold the power button until your laptop shuts off and you hear a sound similar to a voltage drop
2. This will discharge the EC and reset settings that might be corrupted

If Quick EC Reset doesn't help, it's time to do full EC Reset

1. Hold the power button for about 30 seconds
2. Remove the back panel
3. Carefully unplug the battery
4. Plug in the power adapter and run the laptop for about 5 minutes with the battery disconnected
5. After 5 minutes shut down the laptop and reconnect the battery
6. Your EC has now been reset.
