CPU stuck at low MHz all the time

Device: Lenovo laptop

Problem: CPU of sits at low clocks even when under load, even when temperature is relatively low, causing abysmal performance.

Solution:

1. Quick EC reset While the laptop is running, press and hold the power button for 30 secs, release and wait for 5 secs, and turn the laptop on again. Laptop will boot with Balance mode on all laptops and with the default rgb wave on rgb models only.

2. Reboot

3. Enter BIOS → clear psp key and set restore default overclocking to enabled

4. Reboot

5. Check the CPU performance under load
